Chris welcomes Deb Del Negro from Cape Cod Retirement Realty to the show! Deb shares with the listeners the current housing market, including the "Cape Cod" spring market. She shared with the listeners that most of her buyers have been over 50, and are moving here from off-cape locations. She discusses supply and demand, and the lack of inventory on Cape Cod, which has put pressure on buyers. Ultimately, it has created "bidding wars" on properties. Homes in the price range of $250-300k are in very high demand. In the second segment, Chris welcomes Deborah Scavotto from Smooth Moving for Seniors. She is also a member of the Cape Cod Hoarding Task Force. Deborah shares with the listeners how her organization assists seniors in their moving process. Many of her clients are downsizing, and are in need of help in the transition process. Chris takes calls from listeners!
